Childhood Cancer personalised medicine program (ZERO) Update • This is wonderful news....😃 ⬇️⬇️ With the support of the Federal Government and the @minderoofoundation, the ZERO program will now extend genetic testing to ALL Australian children diagnosed with cancer, by 2023. • Until now, ZERO was only available to children across Australia who were diagnosed with the most aggressive cancers, or who had relapsed with less than 30% chance of survival. This new funding announcement will now mean that every child at the time of diagnosis will have access to this ground breaking program, bringing hope to thousands children who have been diagnosed with cancer and their families. • More information on this funding announcement can be found here https://ccia.org.au/67m-funding-collaboration-all-australian-children-with-cancer-to-access-world-class-personalised-medicine/ • Live for Lily is a proud supporter of the @childrenscancerinstitute and the ZERO program, having to date donated $1,010,000 towards funding research into personalised medicine. • And even though we have had to postpone our two major fundraising events this year, the Ride for Lily - Alpine Epic and Butterfly Ball due to the COIVID-19 pandemic, this week, Live for Lily has made a further $20,000 donation to continue our support of this vital program. This will go some way to assisting researchers and helping fund one or two children through this program to give them the best chance at survival. • As a Foundation, we are now starting to turn our attention to a massive 2021 with the Ride for Lily - Alpine Epic locked in to begin on April 11th and the Butterfly Ball back at Crown Palladium on the 19th June 2021. • Rider registrations for the re-run of the Alpine Epic will soon be open to new riders at www.liveforlily.org.au so if you are keen to make a difference, you can start your training today and sign up when registrations open. • And for those supporters who, like us, will be sad not to be getting all dressed up this year for the Butterfly Ball, lock in 19th June 2021 as the key date for next year and help us make the 2021 Butterfly Ball the biggest yet! #LiveforLily #RideforLily #ButterflyBall ...

Continuing to create awareness. • • Thank you to Mark Tognon and the fantastic committee at Keilor East Rotary Club for inviting Philip Martins from Live for Lily to speak at their club meeting via Zoom this evening. • • We appreciate the opportunity to continue to raise awareness for our Ride for Lily and Butterfly Ball fundraising events and for childhood cancer research in general. • • 3 children die every week in Australia from childhood cancer and that is 3 too many, so any opportunity that will increase awareness of the work of our foundation, which can hopefully result in more funds for childhood cancer research is truely appreciated. • • #LiveforLily #ButterflyBall ...

We regretfully announce that due to the current COVID-19 pandemic health emergency, both our 2020 Ride for Lily – Alpine Epic and 2020 Butterfly Ball are to be postponed until 2021. • • The Ride for Lily – Alpine Epic will now take place from April 11th to 17th 2021, whilst our Butterfly Ball will now be held on Saturday 19th June 2021 at Crown Palladium. • • As our supporters know, our Ride for Lily and Butterfly Ball are our two premier fundraising events organised to assist in finding a cure for childhood cancer, so that no parent has to endure the loss of a child. In keeping with our purpose, we felt that it is our responsibility as a childhood cancer foundation to do everything we can to minimise the spread of COVID-19, and to ensure the health and safety of our volunteers, riders, guests and the broader community who would have played a part in both of these events. • • Childhood cancer does not discriminate and will continue to affect many children during this uncertain period ahead. We will continue to work tirelessly on our fundraising efforts in line with our mission to find a cure for childhood cancer and towards staging an even more epic Ride for Lily and bigger and better Butterfly Ball in 2021. Thank you to everyone who has supported us, and who continue to support us during this challenging time. • • We hope this health crisis passes soon, and all of our supporters and their loved ones remain safe. • • #LiveforLily #RideforLily #ButterflyBall ...
