Ride for Lily 2020 - Alpine Epic Update • • As we head into Christmas, our team of 21 riders in next years Ride for Lily - Alpine Epic, proudly sponsored by @airport_toyota, have been out and about training very hard over the past 3 months in preparation for the gruelling 1,000 kilometre ride from Canberra to Melbourne. • • They have also been very busy fundraising, having raised almost $30,000 dollars for childhood cancer research. Our goal this year is to raise $105,000 with each rider committing to raise $5k each so if you would like to support a rider this Christmas and help us in our mission to see an end to childhood cancer, go to https://liveforlily.org.au/ride-2020/ and sponsor a rider today. • • #RideforLily #AplineEpic
We would like to send a big shout out to one of our long-time sponsors, @honesty_snacks for partnering with us in our mission to see an end to childhood cancer. • • Honesty Snacks are a locally based family owned and operated business, who have been providing high quality snacks to businesses for over 30 years. Not only do they donate a % of each sale to Live for Lily, they have been instrumental in helping us broaden our reach as a Foundation to many people and through organisations who use their products. We are extremely grateful for their ongoing support as a primary partner of the Foundation. • • So if you come across an Honesty Snack box in your workplace, know that you are supporting the Live for Lily Foundation every time you purchase one of their delicious snacks. • • Check out our Partner with Us page at https://liveforlily.org.au/partner-with-us/ for more information about how your business can partner with us in fighting childhood cancer. • • #LiveforLily #HonestySnacks #Community #Partner
PARTNER WITH US • At Live for Lily, we are committed to doing all we can to raise much needed funding into targeted childhood cancer research being conducted at the @childrenscancerinstitute. Through our two main fund-raising events, the Ride for Lily and Butterfly Ball, we are also raising awareness about the scourge that is childhood cancer, and the devastating effects and impact this disease has on children and their families. • We are extremely fortunate to have a number of business supporters who are helping us in our journey, including our premier partner @airport_toyota. We are extremely proud that Live for Lily is operated and run entirely on a volunteer basis – no one involved in the Foundation is in a paid capacity – so we absolutely value the support of all our Partners which ultimately means that every dollar of we raise goes where it is needed most – into finding a cure for childhood cancer. • We are very keen to speak to other Australian businesses who are looking to align their community engagement strategy to our mission of one day finding a cure for childhood cancer. There are so many ways to get involved, including financial sponsorship, community grants, donating products for our live auction or golden raffle at the Butterfly Ball, offering logistical or other assistance for our Ride for Lily event, holding morning teas or gold coin donation days or other novel fundraisers. Being involved is a great way to bring an organisation’s community engagement agenda to life which in turn has flow on benefits by inspiring and motivating your staff, lifting customer loyalty and retention and ensuring meaning and purpose is brought to your business. • In return, we are only too happy to promote and recognise those businesses who support us through our website, our social media channels, at the Butterfly Ball and Ride for Lily events. • For more information on what it’s like to Partner with us at Live for Lily, jump onto https://liveforlily.org.au/partner-with-us/. • Alternatively, please reach out to us if your business would like to join us in seeing an end to childhood cancer. • #PartnerWithUs #LiveforLily #ButterflyBall2020 #RideforLily2020

One of the great new features of our recent website refresh is the ability to now host community led initiatives wishing to raise money for Live for Lily. We value every community fundraising event that is run on our behalf, whether it be large or small, because every dollar raised for Live for Lily means we are hopefully one step closer to finding a cure for childhood cancer. • “Let’s Walk for Lily” is a very special community led walkathon, set up and organised by two beautiful sisters, Chloe (10yrs) and Racquel (8 yrs) to raise money and awareness for our Foundation. They are aiming to walk 3 laps of the Botanical Gardens (a whopping 11.4kms!) in under 2 hours with all funds raised being donated to Live for Lily so that all childhood cancers can be eradicated forever. • The walkathon will take place on Sunday 17th November from 12pm to 2pm and everyone is invited to participate and join in and walk with the girls. A picnic will take place in the Botanic Gardens at the conclusion of the walkathon. If you would like to join the girls you can register your interest here - https://www.facebook.com/events/373771080196751/. • Chloe and Raquel would love for you to sponsor them on their epic walkathon which you can do so via their event page https://liveforlily.org.au/walk-2020/. They have set a target of raising $2,000 for their challenge and are already nearly a third of the way there, so we would love to see them smash their goal! • Thank you girls. Your dedication at such a young age to help us find a cure for childhood cancer is inspirational and shows true leadership. • If anyone is planning on holding a fundraising event on behalf of Live for Lily, please get in touch with us and we will be only too happy to give it a shout out and assist you in promoting it on our website and our social channels. • • #LiveforLily #fundraising #curekidscancer
We are proud to officially launch our brand new website 😁 • Thank you to our very good friends at JMAdvertising and the House of Dev for working with us over many months to bring this to life. • We are extremely proud of the fact that we have built an amazing partnership with the @childrenscancerinstitute, which has seen us donate $1M towards their #ZeroChildhoodCancer program in just over 3 years. Check out the Why Donate section https://liveforlily.org.au/why-donate/ for some very special videos and more information on why your donation is so valuable. • We have made it easier for people to donate towards our specific events or by way of general donations. All donations over $2 are tax deductible so we welcome all contributions, no matter how big or small 🙏 • As a not-for-profit, we are only as strong as the support we receive from individuals, businesses and the wider community and as such we were very keen to ensure that we acknowledge all of our business sponsors and partners on our new website that continue to support us on our journey, because without this support, the Foundation simply would not exist. If there are other businesses out there that would like to jump on board and help us in our mission to find a cure for childhood cancer, please reach out to us via our new Partner with Us page https://liveforlily.org.au/partner-with-us/ to see how you can become involved. • Finally, as part of the new website, we have officially launched our 2020 #RideforLily – Alpine Epic page including rider profiles showcasing the 21 amazing cyclists who will take on the 1,000km journey from Canberra to Melbourne beginning 29 March next year, all in the name of raising valuable awareness and funds for childhood cancer research. This annual event is quickly becoming one of Australia’s biggest charity endurance cycling events, last year raising over $265,000 so we are all very humbled that we have another amazing bunch of riders who are prepared to give up their time and go the distance next year all in the name of childhood cancer awareness. Check out their profiles and donate towards your favourite rider today at https://liveforlily.org.au/ride-2020/ • #LiveforLily

......So that is a wrap! Thank you to all our sponsors and supporters who helped us put the evening together. Thank you to Crown and Encore Technologies for putting together a fantastic venue once again. A very big thank you to @realjostanley for her professionalism as our MC on the night and for her continuing support hosting our Butterfly Ball each year. And thank you to everyone who attended or contributed in some way throughout our special evening, whether that be from participating in auctions, buying raffle tickets and treasure chest keys or simply just being there and having a great time. It means so much. We are now so thrilled now to announce that the final amount raised from this years Butterfly Ball was a massive $136,183.01. That is an amazing effort that will go directly to helping us in our quest to find a cure for childhood cancer. Thanks and until next year.......😀 #LiveforLily #ButterflyBall
....We watched a very heart-warming video about Ellie’s journey which was very emotional. Following Michelle, the now famous and frenetic Live for Lily auction was conducted by Brad Teal and Tony Downward from @bradtealrealestate and Andrew Johnston from @nelsonalexanderrealestate. And it didn’t disappoint, with almost $60,000 being raised from the items sold. This included a whopping $27,000 for the renowned Chef Riccardo Momesso dinner experience (another record!!) - an absolutely fantastic result. That brings the total raised by Riccardo’s dining experience auction item in the last four years to over $88,000! Thank you Riccardo for all the support you have given the Foundation, and thank you to everyone who took part in this year’s auction, including our auctioneers for their energy and professionalism. The treasure chest was in full swing by this stage with people trying their luck to unlock the chest to get their hands on the $10,000 prize money. This year it took only about 30 keys to find a winner, with Clint Pollerd being the lucky man. He had made a gentleman’s agreement with his friend Russell Evans, that they would split the prize with each other, should either of them win. Being a true gentleman he stuck to the agreement and shared his winnings with Russell. A great story, and no doubt a night they will never forget! DJ David had the dance floor pumping with his tunes leading up to the drawing of the Golden Raffle. At 9:30pm, Aaron and Pasquale drew out the winner of the Toyota Yaris and Tom Auld walked away with the keys to his brand-new Toyota Yaris. Well done Tom and well done to all our other raffle winners on the night. Then it was time to really let the hair down with Matt Hetherington and his band returning back on stage for an unforgettable live performance that had everyone begging for more. The dance floor was as packed as it’s ever been and everyone had a blast. Thank you, Matt, and to your fabulous band for your amazing performance.......
...Next up, Aaron introduced Pasquale Scaturchio, General Manager of Airport Toyota, who had the privilege of introducing the Foundation’s newest fundraising adventure, the Live for Lily Family Ride. The family ride will take place on Nov 17 this year along the Warburton - Lilydale Rail Trail. Entry will be limited to just 30 families so get in quick to register. Registrations will open on July 1st so stay tuned for more information on how you can enter and take part, and help us raise vital funds for childhood cancer research. After an absolutely delightful dinner, Michelle Haber returned to the stage and spoke specifically about the impact Zero Childhood Cancer is having on families and children who find themselves at the end of the road when it comes to treatment of their cancer – many, many children just like Lily. In the last 60 years, survival rates for childhood cancer have improved dramatically – going from almost every child dying, to one where around 80% are surviving. Whilst this is fantastic progress, there is still more to do. Live for Lily is extremely proud to be supporting the Zero Childhood Cancer program - a highly collaborative program which involves scientists from 21 leading Australian and international research organisations working together. A 3-year national clinical trial opened 20 months ago at all 8 of Australia’s children’s hospitals, meaning that every child with aggressive cancer can access this ground-breaking program, wherever they happen to live. Already, over 200 children have been enrolled in the trial. These are children with a less than 30% chance of survival, many of whom have already relapsed from their disease, and for whom the prognosis is very, very grim. Positively, the results of the trial so far show that a personalised treatment plan has been recommended for almost 75% of participating children, in a turnaround time of just 9 weeks, providing hope to families and children for the first time, when before there was none. Michelle spoke of a little girl called Ellie and how Zero program has changed her life for the good and given her and her family hope of a cancer free future..........
2019 Live for Lily Butterfly Ball proudly sponsored by @airport_toyota - Wrap Up Well what a night. Another unbelievable Butterfly Ball has come and gone in the blink of an eye. The night really is a blur with so much activity happening from start to finish, with new friends being made, and old friends and family catching up. With a record number of 700 people attending this year, along with the incredible entertainment put on by the Matt Hetherington band, we can now officially say this was our biggest and best Butterfly Ball yet! 🥳 The night kicked off with Matt Hetherington performing a solo performance of Coldplay’s Fix You, followed by a stunning duet of Shallow, with vocalist Sarah Tonner, which gave the guests goose bumps and just a little teaser of what was to come later in the evening. We then heard from the Live for Lily Foundation’s co-founder Aaron Hester who delivered a beautiful speech which included an insight into who Lily was as a person and a daughter. With so many new people attending the Butterfly Ball each year, Aaron’s honesty and willingness to share with everyone details about what a beautiful little girl Lily was, made for an extremely powerful and moving moment. Aaron then asked Michelle Haber AM, Executive Director of the @childrenscancerinstitute to the stage and presented her with a cheque for $500,000, bringing the total raised by Live for Lily to over a million dollars in just 3 short years 😲. This is something everyone involved with the Foundation is so proud of but most importantly, we are so grateful for the support of everyone out there who has helped contribute to this fund-raising milestone along the way. Aaron spoke about the 2019 Ride for Lily and acknowledged the fantastic contribution of all 28 riders, most of whom were in attendance on the night. He then went on launch the 2020 Great Alpine Epic Ride for Lily which will take place from 29th March to the 4th April next year. Another 1,000km over 7 days adventure through the Alpine region of New South Wales and Victoria which is going to be an amazing experience for those taking part. Will you be joining us next year? Stay tuned for registration details....

We recently received a lovely note from very good friends of the Live for Lily Foundation, whose daughter recently held a fundraiser at her school with proceeds going towards Live for Lily. We love it when children take it upon themselves to help our Foundation raise money for childhood cancer research, because after all, at Live for Lily, we are all about helping seriously ill children suffering from cancer 🌈 🔹 If your child is doing any fundraising for Live for Lily at school, their sporting club or in the community, we would love to hear about it and would only be too happy to share their story. . . 🔹My daughter attended St Therese's with Lily and is now in Year 8 at Melbourne Girls Grammar. Each Year 8 class nominates a charity to raise money over the course of the year and she applied for her class to raise money for Live for Lily. Her application was the winner in a class vote and the first fundraiser was this Tuesday with a bake sale at school. 🔹 All goods were made by the girls in her class and their teacher and cups of Milo were also sold. In total just over $560 was raised for the Foundation, a great result! There will be the opportunity for other fundraising events later this year and we are so happy to have a charity so close to our hearts promoted by our daughter to her friends and her school. 🔹 Sianne did not want Lily to be forgotten - she never will be and we continue the fundraising work of the foundation in Lily's memory. . . #community #kidshelpingkids #LiveforLily

Final Day, Day 7 - 2019 @airport_toyota Ride for Lily - Tour of Tassie 40km Hobart Loop - Mt. Wellington Ascent. 110km | 2,032m Elevation So after 7 days cycling, covering 1,000km and 13,000m vertical elevation gain, our inspirational team of 28 cyclists have completed their journey to the top of Mt. Wellington in Hobart to conclude this year’s Tour of Tassie. The morning session consisted of a 40km Loop to the North West of Hobart before the entire team regrouped for a coffee (sponsored by Tassie Hydro - thank you very much!) and made the gruelling trip up the mountain. The Mt. Wellington climb would be a test of any cyclist’s physical and mental capacity on any given day, and to complete it after already having covered over 900km the previous 6 days truely was an amazing effort. On the descent, the team headed back to the Riverfront Motel & Villas to a rousing reception by all the Ride for Lily support staff who have assisted the riders all week and families who have traveled with the team and made the trip over to Hobart to welcome their loved ones home. It was an emotional end to what really was a fantastic week. We are so pleased to announce that this year’s Tour of Tassie has now raised over $250,000 for childhood cancer research. An absolutely remarkable effort and the largest amount raised by the Foundation for any one event in our short 3 year existence. But this could not have been achieved without all the fantastic support of our supporters, sponsors, friends and family out their who are with us on the journey to cure childhood cancer. Thank you so much for your donations, likes and shares that has helped us spread the word and bring more and more people on board. So until next year......🚲 #LiveforLily #RideforLily
The team have done it!! Mt. Wellington has been accomplished and the Tour of Tassie has been completed! Stay tuned for a final wrap up of Day 7. We have some partying and celebrations to do first!! 🎉 #LiveforLily #RideforLily
Day 6 - 2019 @airport_toyota Ride for Lily - Tour of Tassie Orford - Richmond - Hobart. 115km | 1,500m Elevation The team have made it to Hobart!! It was a grinding day after all the kilometres they have covered the previous 5 days, but all have made it safely, albeit with sore legs and backsides! The day started out with staggered starts again for various riding groups with the earliest setting off at just after 6am. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any colder, this morning was the coldest with temperatures at around minus 4 deg. It was literally freezing and a couple of the first descents proved this with ice forming on riders arm warmers, helmets and even their face! It was also very foggy as the riders snaked their way along the very picturesque Prosser River and into the hills of the Tasman Highway which was a very decent climb. The sun finally broke through after a couple of hours of riding which was a blessing and the riders made their way into Richmond (across Australia’s oldest stone span bridge!) and stopped for brunch at the famous @richmondbakery. Thank you for the very yummy sausage rolls, pies and treats you made for the riders and support staff. Today’s coffee stop was proudly sponsored by @pilotrestaurant Resturant in Canberra. Thank you very much guys. After the break, the riders set off for Hobart passing through Meehan Range State Reserve and summiting Grassytree Hill and then descending into Hobart arriving at @riverfronthobart at various stages in the afternoon. The team have thus far covered over 850 kilometres with a total elevation gain of over 11,000m, and with one day to go, the massive ascent of Mt Wellington (1,271m) awaits them tomorrow which is going to be an epic way to complete what has been a sensational Tour of Tassie. We are so close to raising over $250,000 for childhood cancer research at the Children’s Cancer Institute which we believe will save the lives of many children who are suffering from some of the worst types of cancers. If you want to help and show your support for this amazing team of riders, you can make a donation at https://liveforlily.org.au/what-we-do/ride-for-lily-2019-tour-of-tassie/
Day 5 - 2019 @airport_toyota Ride for Lily - Tour of Tassie Scamander - Bicheno - Swansea - Orford. 160km | 1,615m Elevation The team have arrived in Orford on Tasmania’s Central East Coast after a gruelling 160km, the second biggest day in this year’s Tour. Tired legs and bodies are catching up with the riders and most have a few little injury niggles they are battling through, but their spirit and determination is unwavering as they can see the finish line ahead! The group headed out from Scamander at 6am and were faced head on with a 330m ascent of St Marys Pass which seemed to go on and on and on! Descending down through St Marys the team then headed South East towards the coast and climbed their way to the top of Mt Elephant Pass and through Lower Marsh Creek Forest Reserve, coming out on the A3 at the Chain of Lagoons. From there they hugged the coast and arrived at the morning tea stop in the town of Bicheno, 66km from Scamander. Morning team was at the @blueedgebakery and sponsored today by Helen Tschanz. Thank you very much! The second session of the day was a 45km hike down the coastline through the stunning Freycinet wine region where the riders were treated with fantastic views all around in brilliant sunshine. Lunch was well deserved on the waterfront of Swansea with the riders taking a well earned break in the sun. After lunch, the landscape opened up and the team were treated with uninterrupted views of Freycinet National park, Coles Bay, which was without doubt one of the nicest riding sections of this year Tour. Tomorrow the riders and support staff head into Hobart for the penultimate day of this year’s Tour of Tassie and everyone is very excited about getting to Tassie’s capital city! Thank you to everyone who is getting behind the riders this year by donating, sharing, liking and commenting on social media. Every bit counts in the fight to find a cure for childhood cancer and it is so very much appreciated. https://liveforlily.org.au/what-we-do/ride-for-lily-2019-tour-of-tassie/
This is Matthew and Rebecca and their beautiful family Alexander, Piper and Tabitha. Matthew is riding the Tour of Tassie with his family’s support in memory of their son Vaughan who lost his battle with leukaemia when he was 3 years old. Matt has been committed to training for over 6 months and is far out of his comfort zone wearing Lycra! As Rebecca said, the grind of slogging up the hills of Tassie reminds her of the daily grind of treatment for her baby boy, and that’s what we are here for. To end childhood cancer. One hard hill at a time. Read Matt’s story and donate here: https://liveforlily.org.au/what-we-do/ride-for-lily-2019-tour-of-tassie/ #rideforlily2019
Day 4 - 2019 @airport_toyota Ride for Lily - Tour of Tassie Scottsdale - Derby - St Helens - Scamander. 117km | 1,700m Elevation Another superb day of cycling today. We have been blessed with great weather the past two days. The riding team set off in 3 seperate groups this morning in below zero degrees towards Derby. It was definitely the coldest morning yet and the riders all felt it! Derby is home to some of Australia’s best mountain bike tracks and riders come from far and wide to explore the area. But today it belonged to the Live for Lily road bikes as the team rolled in for a well earned coffee or hot chocolate to warm themselves up ☕️ Thanks to @crankitcafe_derby for the hospitality and to our coffee sponsor today Flow Brothers Plumbing - it is very much appreciated. The next 66km was one of the most scenic sections yet of this year’s Tour, with fantastic views of Mount Victoria to the south as the team cycled up through Blue Tier Forest Reserve and over Weld Hill and through Weldborough, which concluded with an epic 8km descent and further rolling hills into the lunch stop on the water front at St Helens. After a relaxing break in the sunshine, the team had a short 18km ride along the coast into the destination for today, Scamander, on Tasmania’s North East Coast. Today we want to give a big shout out to all the kids and teenagers on this year’s Tour of Tassie who are out shaking the donation tins at each rest stop and spreading the word about what the Ride for Lily is all about and what we are doing to fight childhood cancer. Thank you! Tomorrow the team head south about 160km along the east coast towards Orford, which promises to be another fantastic day cycling. Thank you to everyone for all the messages of support. Keep them coming!! #LiveforLily #RideforLily https://liveforlily.org.au/what-we-do/ride-for-lily-2019-tour-of-tassie/
Day 3 - 2019 @airport_toyota Ride for Lily - Tour of Tassie Ulverstone - Beaconsfield - Scottsdale. 175km | 2,700m Elevation Day 3 was touted as the biggest and longest day of this year’s Tour and it didn’t disappoint. Riders started out again at 6am from Ulverstone in extremely cold conditions and snaked their way out of town to be greeted by a gorgeous sunrise. The theme of the day was rolling hills, and unlike day 1 which subjected the riders to a couple of gruelling long and steep climbs, today the elevation kept adding up from the numerous hill climbs followed by quick descents, and then back out of the saddle again for the next hill. Tassie really brought the weather today as the riders enjoyed the best weather of the three days thus far with sunshine all day and helped along with a tailwind. It really was fantastic riding conditions. The groups paused for a quick break at around the 45km mark and then climbed steadily til about the 70km mark, and from there it was one of the biggest and quickest descents (with some riders clocking almost 80km/h!) into the mining town of Beaconsfield for morning tea. The morning coffee stop was at Moon Lily Kitchen and Cakes and was proudly sponsored today by Dean & McPherson Creative Catering Group. Thank you! Heading out of Beaconsfield the team cycled on through more beautiful farmland and rolling hills for a further 50km until they reached Lilydale Falls for lunch and a well earned break. Coming out of Lilydale falls, the team were met head on with a straight, killer 200m vertical climb and further undulating terrain for another 38km until they rolled into Scottsdale in the late afternoon. It was a very long day but very rewarding and there are some seriously tired bodies this evening 🛌 The support team were absolutely amazing today, helping the riders with everything, especially sorting and delivering everyone’s luggage at the various accomodation stays in Scottsdale (we basically have the entire town booked out!!), amongst doing all the other critical roles that makes each day run seamlessly. We can’t thank you guys enough 🙏 . . .
Day 2 - 2019 @airport_toyota Ride for Lily - Tour of Tassie Cradle Mountain - Burnie - Ulverstone. 141km | 1,300m Elevation Another 6am start for the riding team who were all layered up to keep themselves warm for the big descent ahead with temperature sitting at zero deg this morning! The ride out of Cradle Mountain and through Black Bluff Nature Recreation Area was very cold but the scenery made up for it. There was some low level cloud around as the sun started to rise and display the stunning views all around. Luckily the rain from the night before was nowhere to be seen so the team stayed relatively dry. The team then headed West up the Ridgley Highway and had to maintain a lot of concentration as the road was quite heavy with numerous logging trucks and large B Double prime movers that travel that route up to the North coast. A big shout out to the support car team of Sal Tringali, Vanessa McLennan and Gus Carfi who are keeping our riding team safe on the roads, sitting behind the three main groups to ensure their safety and warn other traffic of the precious cargo ahead! 🚵♂️ After 110km the team arrived on the North coast of Tassie for a well earned coffee stop at the chapel cafe . Thank you for your great service and amazing ham and cheese toasties! Thank you @birdsnestonline for sponsoring this morning’s coffee stop. It is very much appreciated. After a quick rest the team headed East along the beautiful coast road to Ulverstone and the Big 4 Caravan Park, where most of the riding team braved the freezing ocean for a well earned and refreshing recovery session 🌊 Tomorrow will be the biggest day on this year’s Tour and will definitely test the resolve of each and every rider. Approx 180km and 2400m elevation to Scottsdale so we hope the riders get a good rest tonight to take the challenge head on. Once again thank you to all our support staff for their assistance today. You are absolute superstars and the riders appreciate everything you do for us. And thank you to all our supporters and followers who continue to donate, share and like our posts. Every dollar counts in the fight against #childhoodcancer. https://liveforlily.org.au
Day 1 - 2019 @airport_toyota Ride for Lily - Tour of Tassie. Launceston - Deloraine - Cradle Mountain. 143km | 2,350 Elevation It was an epic first day in the Tour of Tassie; some saying one of the hardest in the 4 years the event has been running! The hills just kept coming but the team of 28 riders did an amazing job grinding it out til the end. Starting out at 6am from the @oldetudorhotel the group stuck together all the way through a relatively flat section to Deloraine about 45km away. Thank you to @mummabuzzofficial for a delicious morning tea and a big thank you to @anzuk.education.au for sponsoring today’s morning tea break. The group then were faced with a very steep climb, at some sections over 17% gradient which was a real killer and then into Cethana for lunch at the Round Hill Cafe. After lunch the real fun started! A very steep downhill and then basically climbing all the way for the next 30km through the stunning mountain scenery around Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park and finishing up at Discovery Park Cradle Mountain. A massive thank you to all the amazing volunteers on this years Tour Of Tassie. They are the first to get up and last to go to bed making sure all the riders are looked after and without you all this event simply would not happen 🙏 Our fundraising total is continuing to get closer to that magical $250,000 mark! If you would like to help us put an end to #childhoodcancer jump online and donte towards a rider today at https://liveforlily.org.au/what-we-do/ride-for-lily-2019-tour-of-tassie/ and SHARE and LIKE to spread the word. 🦋 The Sianne Hester Inspiration Award - Proudly sponsored by @bradtealrealestate The Live for Lily Foundation would like to congratulate Ben McHarg on being awarded the inaugural Sianne Hester Inspiration Award. The special pink jersey is awarded to the rider who has gone over and above for the Foundation and raised the most money that year in the Ride for Lily. It represents that rider’s commitment to raise as much money as possible for childhood cancer research. Sianne was an inspiration to us all with her tenacity and doggedness in the face of adversity, and in leaving no stone unturned to find a cure for Childhood cancer. Ben’s ability to bring onboard a whole new bunch of Live for Lily supporters and raise an astonishing $44,367 (and still counting!!) this year is an absolutely phenomenal effort. Well done Ben. We hope you wear the Pink Jersey with pride. #RideforLily #TourofTassie #PinkJersey
