Brad McCormick

Aaron (Lily’s dad) and I grew up with our dads being close friends. Our dads loved camping, fishing and generally being in the outdoors. One of my highlights every year was when we would go on the boys camping trips with our families. I learnt to drive a car, ride motorbikes and even sneak a few beers off dad when I was a little tacker. These were some of my fondest childhood memories.

Lily on the other hand had her childhood memories cut short. This is the case for many children diagnosed with cancer. They might not get to experience those little things we take for granted, some of the happiest moments of our lives.

For this reason, I would like to raise money and awareness of childhood cancer in the hope that funds raised can be used to find a cure for this terrible disease.

My goal is to complete my first full-length ironman (3.9km swim, 180km ride and 42km run) in Port Macquarie on May 6, 2018 whilst raising funds and awareness along the way.

Please support this journey of mine by donating to the Live for Lily Foundation.
